How to get an accurate quote in one go
A quote is only as good as what you send with it. Four things make the difference between a binding number and an estimate that moves at the curb, and all four take about a minute to put together.
- Photos from two angles. Shoot the whole pile, room or yard, and include anything stacked behind or underneath. Hidden volume is the single most common cause of a revised price.
- The address. We work across Cameron County and into Hidalgo County, and the address tells us the scheduling window as well as whether your municipal programme would do it for free.
- Access notes. Stairs, narrow side gates, long carries from a back yard, service elevators and parking distance all add labour. Flagging them up front keeps the quote honest.
- Special categories. Tell us if there is a refrigerator, freezer or AC unit needing refrigerant recovery, a hot tub, a piano, tires, or anything unusually heavy.
What happens after you send the form
You get a written flat price back, not a call-back to discuss it. The number covers the labour to carry items from wherever they sit, the truck and the drive, and the disposal fee at a permitted facility. If something in your photos means we are not the right fit, we will say so and point you at the free route or the correct specialist instead.
If the job is complex enough that photos cannot scope it honestly, typically a hoarder cleanout or a large estate clear, we will ask for a walkthrough or a video rather than guess. The output of that is still a flat price and a day count, never an open meter.
Realistic timing by area
Scheduling varies with distance, not price. There is no travel surcharge anywhere in the service area.
- Brownsville and immediate surrounds. Same-day is realistic for scoped loads sent early in the day.
- San Benito and Harlingen. Fifteen to twenty-five minutes out. Same-day and next-day windows both work.
- Port Isabel and the causeway side. Book a day or two ahead, especially around weekends when causeway traffic is heaviest.
- McAllen and Hidalgo County. Grouped runs with two to three days of notice rather than same-day dispatch.
During and after storms
Post-storm scheduling reflects region-wide demand rather than any one address. Interest in this market peaks in June alongside the June 1 season opening, so the practical booking window for unrushed, well-priced work is April and May. If a storm has already passed, document everything for your insurer before anything moves, then get wet material out quickly: Gulf humidity means soaked contents start growing mould within roughly 24 to 48 hours.
